Preparing your Cars for Military Vehicle Carriers

Whether you’re facing deployment overseas or a change of station in the United States, you’ll want to bring both of your family cars with you. With the U.S. Armed Forces having an established presence across the globe, there are a number of military vehicle carriers that provide trustworthy and secure car shipping for military personnel and their families.

But before you hand over the keys to your family cars to military vehicle carriers, you’re best advised to prepare the vehicles properly so they don’t get damaged in transit. This way, once the military vehicle carriers deliver your cars at your new address, you can drive them as soon as you like.

First, make sure all fluids are filled, including your break fluid, coolant, and anti-freeze. Check that all lights are in good working order, including your indicators. Make sure the air pressure in the tires is adequate, and that the cars’ tanks are half-full so the vehicles can be driven on and off the military vehicle carriers. You’re best advised to take the time to check over your cars for any scratches or dents, and record the condition of your cars before they’re loaded onto the military vehicle carriers.
